io10 STEM Career Day's Keynote Speaker
Adam Zufall was born and raised in Redding, CA and is indebted to the exemplary educators of Grant Elementary and Shasta High School for instilling a love of science and engineering from an early age. After earning degrees in Aerospace Engineering from UC Davis and Stanford University, Adam worked as an ADCS (Attitude Determination and Control System) Engineer at the NASA Ames Research Center, where he designed, analyzed, constructed, tested, and operated several small satellite missions. Adam is currently pursuing his PhD at the UC Davis Center for Spaceflight Research, where he is designing an autonomous inspection satellite for crewed space habitats.
