Rick Dunbar

Keynote Speaker

Rick Dunbar is a Northstate native, and currently serves as the market director of imaging services for Mercy Medical Center Redding, Mercy Mt. Shasta, and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital.


After attending Shasta College, he obtained his AS in Radiologic Technology, and BS in Radiologic Science from Loma Linda University, in Southern California.  He then obtained his Master's in Healthcare Administration from Pacific University, in Forest Grove, OR. 


Rick worked clinically as a radiologic technologist for about a decade before moving to healthcare administration, performing both conventional xray and CT exams within several different healthcare facilities.  Upon completion of his master's degree, he assumed the role of imaging department manager at St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in 2019, before being promoted into his current role in 2020.


Rick resides in Redding with his wife and two children, and loves living in the Northstate due to its many diverse recreational opportunities, and proximity to family.
